I have made these lovely everyday earrings from the sample components I found I had left over after designing the new earring collection. I wanted where possible to make gold and silver jewellery for you that was not price restrictive but would also last and last. I learnt that gold filled was a stronger lasting but more expensive medium and where possible I am using this in the larger collection.

This however left me with the gold plated components and sampling which were still way to nice not to use!!

These earrings are made from that lovely gold plated stock and gold plate is what most fashion jewellery is made from.

Visually they are a little brighter in colour than the originals, a rich bright yellow gold. The small hoop is unsoldered, meaning its ends have not been bonded together though heat. The overall design size and shape are just as the original with the child hoop being just a little bit bigger in the Refuge earring. These are a very lovely every day earring that you can dress up or down and represents the family bond.
